The Programs Available (ITAP)

What Support do we offer?

We offer a variety of different support contracts. Here are a few examples:

PC support for your hardware and/or software which guarantees the attention of an on-site engineer or resolution over the phone within defined response times.

Server Support for your hardware and/or software which guarantees the attention of an on-site engineer or resolution over the phone within defined response times. Monthly visits are made to ensure server services & health & a business critical 4 hour response time for recovery action.

Workgroup Contracts. For all your business or organization needs with a set fee that covers monthly visits to ensure support, maintenance & monitor your server, PC’s & staff support.  Business critical 4 hour response time for recovery action on servers and next day response to PC problems

Retainer Based contracts. A small fee ensures a rapid response to any problems at your workplace and covers you for an agreed number of hour’s on-site maintenance each month. If your systems rarely break down this type of support can be very useful.

Consultancy. All on-site work is chargeable on a timesheet basis. Useful if you have a reasonable level of IT knowledge on site, and only need new equipment advice, and sometimes assistance.

Technical Support

To ensure the correct support Somtech's service philosophy is based on utilizing the resources available to the IT industry as a whole. This is reflected in our partnerships with quality assured companies like Microsoft & Fujitsu-Siemens, but this goes further than just the product. We also have the technical support channels direct to manufacturers and providers and have a complete technical database at each technicians disposal, with the addition of a mobile communications network that connect each technician with each other so knowledge, solutions & guidance can be shared.

Each service contract is assigned to a head technician who will familiarise himself with your organizations IT structure, this along with our site records generated by our audit service and our site record database, also means that everything is quantified & considered before structural changes are made.
