The particularly extendible P200 rack server is the first 2-way PRIMERGY rack server with a 2 U form factor, thus allowing additional hard disks (up to 6) and I/O slots to be integrated. The PRIMERGY P200 server represents a versatile platform for a very wide range of applications within data centre environments. Its competitive functionality and support of the new flexible SCSI infrastructure concept make the PRIMERGY P200 rack server excellently suited for data centre solutions and server farm concepts. It is the ideal platform for multi-server configurations (clusters), front-end solutions, e-commerce, domain controllers, exchange servers, web servers, small database servers and web-hosting servers. It is also ideally suited as an application server in modern multi-tier configurations of corporate enterprise customers, where high internal hard disk capacities (max. 438 GB) are required.
