How our services evolved:
Somtech has always provided network cabling, server & PC sales, along with a support service. But as each business customers industry was different their needs were also different. This culminated in our service developing to what is now a well structured set of services that contend head on with the many aspects of IT management, supply, service & administration.

Yet, we are not ashamed to say or admit that it is impossible to know everything about IT, even though we strive to. But if one can base IT services on all the resources available in the IT industry (not just your own company knowledge) one can achieve a high quality service as a collective. Knowledge sharing in this manner is the way all IT companies do business and is gradually the way all businesses who wish to survive in this technology age.

That is why our whole service philosophy is based on utilizing the resources available to our industry. This is reflected in our partnerships with quality assured companies like Microsoft & Fujitsu-Siemens, but this goes further than just the product. We also have the technical support channels direct to manufacturers and providers and have a complete technical database at each technicians disposal, with the addition of a mobile communications network that connect each technician with each other so knowledge, solutions & guidance can be shared.

To date our services have become more successful with more customers being satisfied not just with the services we provide but because we are in control as an IT manager or director should be, giving the business direction & regulation. Some customers even see our technicians us as their own employed IT manager becoming part of their own work force.
